The Merchant Automotive 25910 Rear Transfer Case Housing & Output Seal will replace the cracked rear housing in your 2001-2007 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7/LLY/LBZ. This Merchant Auto NP261XHD/NP263XHD Transfer Case Housing is ideal if you need to replace the rear section of the transfer case on your GM Duramax diesel. This rear transfer case half is made of magnesium, which is superior to low-cost aluminum knockoffs, under OEM specifications. To avoid and fix cases that have been damaged by pump rub, this kit is a direct replacement and improvement over your factory housing. A driven sprocket support bearing and slip yoke bushing are already installed in this new NP261XHD/NP263XHD Transfer Case Housing.

To completely update your transfer case, Merchant also offers a rear output seal and advises adding the Merchant Automotive Magnetic Drain Plug Kit.
