The BD-Power 1041241 Billet Flex Plate is an immense upgrade over the stock flex plate in your E4OD or 4R100 equipped 1994-2003 7.3L Powerstroke. This flex plate is CNC machined out of quench and tempered 100ksi steel to be 1.5x thicker than the stock Flex plate. Machined in-house at BD, this flex plate incorporates integrated counterweights and is balanced more accurately than the OE specifications. This flex plate is given a Black Oxide coating for corrosion resistance and to prevents hydrogen embrittlement that can cause cracking. This unit will fit any aftermarket or stock-style torque converter and is affordable enough to replace when doing a transmission or torque converter swap. Designed as a bolt-in replacement, this flex plate is great for stock, towing, and modified applications.
